Earn What You Spend

Carnival of Personal Finance #204

Welcome!  This week I’m proud to be hosting the Carnival of Personal Finance - the traveling blog carnival that brings you the best from the personal finance blogosphere.

Some have written recently about the end of personal finance - and I respectfully disagree, largely because of the great writing you can find by reading some of these blogs below.  I started this blog because I believe there is a general dearth of adequate financial education in this country (and beyond, for that matter), and this corner of the blogosphere gives me hope.  It’s filled with everyday people learning the basic precepts of financial literacy and sharing that learning with a vibrant community.  The challenge, as I see it, is spreading these lessons far and wide.   But that’s a topic for another day.  Let’s get to the posts!
